Monday, Monday...

"Monday, Monday, so good to me! Monday Mornin', it was all i hoped it would be!"

     Alot of people are a bit adverse to Mondays -and why not since they often mean a return to another mundane workweek right? Blah. Here we go again. Back to working for a boss who doesn't appreciate me, back to the humdrum place I gotta go to get a paycheck. Sigh.

     Well, I choose to see Mondays alot different than most folks! To me, Mondays are a fresh day to start over everything and I'm always excited to start anything anew! I mean, put it this way - Each Monday morning you get a magic eraser to erase the chalkboard of last weeks lessons. Seriously, imagine if all the little screw ups and catastrophes that everyone has from time to time could magically be set right with a few sweeps of the eraser!? How cool would that be?

     Yeah, yeah...so the chalk dust would hang around and cause your allergies to act up. And of course someone would eventually have to clap those erasers clean too right? But so what?! You'd still have a fresh slate to draw upon again and maybe you could right a few of the wrongs while you're at it! Beside- if all else fails you can always take your chalk and draw a masterful picture of your archnemesis and add horns and a mustache! Now that thought should have at least made you crack a smile! If not, put down the hammer and re-read this after you've had some coffee...and maybe a xanax or two!  In the meantime, I'd better get off my soapbox, and get to work myself!
