1-25 Tutorial Wednesday for Bugaboo Stamps!

Today I want to show you how to make something fun! The cute little candy box below featuring Bugaboo Stamps Girl Mouse is both easy and versatile! These would make really great shower, party, or wedding favors! You could even make up a bunch for your kids classmates, your church group, or scout troops!

It's as easy as 1,2,3! So....let's get started!

Step 1:
Start with a piece of heavy paper or cardstock, 6.5" long, and 3.75" wide. Score the 6.5" side at 2.25", 3" 5.25", and 6". Score the 3.75" side at .75", and 3". (Score lines are dashed on the picture!) Cut in horizontally on long side to vertical score lines on both sides as shown below. Fold all flaps in.

Step 2: Choose your favorite diecut and cut in the center of the top square below the flap. (See Picture below.) Optional: Emboss the cardstock. Glue or use red line tape to affix a bit of cellophane over the diecut opening. (Hint: Clear Envelope bags work great for this! They are clear, but sturdy!).

Step 3: Assemble box, as seen below, sealing sides with glue or red line tape. Fill and decorate as you wish and tuck flap to close. For mine below, I used an inkpad to lightly distress the embossed cardstock. I added this sweet Bugaboo Stamps image, embellies and some FABULOUS bakers twine from Ribbon Carousel. I hope you like my sample below! Feel free to use my tutorial for your own creations - but please give credit where credit is due! Thanks!
