Christmas in April with OSAAT!

I am trying to get ahead for next year (so maybe I can actually get my cards sent out!) and the folks at One Stitch at a Time are helping me with that goal! They have a Christmas Club going on, where every 3rd Sunday they ask one of their talented design team members to pick a theme of their choice and participants can create things to fit that theme.  At the end of the year you'll have at least a dozen cards and they will give you something cool as a reward! 4/21 OBG Thursday for Bugaboo Stamps

It's OBG day for the DT at Bugaboo Stamps - the day that some of the Bugaboo DT shows off their creations featuring some of their favorite Bugaboo Stamps images! These images aren't part of the current release, but are still some of Bugaboo's best! 

My card features Mildred from Bugaboo Stamps. The computer generated sentiment reveals a shared love of "Coffee And" (as we call whatever accompanies Coffee)! My background uses a  stamped repeat of a stamp from Elzybells to play along with the Crafty Hos Challenge to use rubber & digital stamps together!

Freebie Tuesdays in April at Bugaboo Stamps!

Today is another Freebie Tuesday in April at Bugaboo Stamps, and I am super excited to share this card featuring a digi from the Rainy Day Bears line! This card I made for a friend who's had a few too many bad days in a row and is feelin' blue. Since chocolate makes eveything better, I picked up a small box of Godiva chocolates to let her know I'm thinking of her! AND good friend that I am - I also ate a little tin of Godiva chocolate drops too...you know...as a sign of solidarity! ;) Come to think of it, I'd better *walk* this over there before more chocolate *disappears* for exercise! :p Hope you like my card!

There were several tornados throughout North Carolina yesterday. As a newbie to seeing this type of weather phenomena outside of TV, we were truly stunned! Alot of folks here are without power, and have extensive damage. Luckily, we are all okay, we have had our power restored & we only have minimal property damage. However, not everyone has been so lucky, so I'm asking for your thoughts and prayers for those who were not as forunate! Thanks!

New Challenge at PIO

Yesterday, we were all hunkering down here in North Carolina. Some pretty bad tornados were going through and as a newcomer - I had no idea what to do to keep from freaking out! SO...being a dedicated stamper, I stamped with my daughter on the ground floor while the high winds tore 60 foot tall trees out! I also cranked my Cuttlebug to diecut and emboss while the tornados ripped shingles off our roof as if they were post it notes! In the end, we were lucky and our damage was minimal! However, I'd like to ask for your prayers for others who did not fare as well! Thanks!

Now that we have power again, I'm so happy to be able to share my creation with you! Today at Pile It On we have a fun new challenge up! This week we are challenging you to make a card or project  using only rubber or clear stamps (NO DIGITAL STAMPS!!)

My 'background paper' I made by doing a repeat pattern using a rubber stamp of Easter eggs by Studio G. The row of Bunnies is another rubber stamp by Studio G, while the sentiment (inside and out) is by Custers Last Stamp. I also diecut some of my own felt flowers and stacked them with some I found in my stash!

Inside Sentiment reads : "a receding hareline!"
