4-21 New Release Day at Bugaboo Stamps!

Well it is definitely feeling spring-like around here, although I wish it was more 'April showers' than 'May flowers at this point! Either way, my garden is flourishing in the rain! However, my garden is safe and hearty and I can't wait to partake in its bounty! Check out my card below featuring one of   Bugaboo Stamps New Releases - Dandelion Wish! I was so happy to use my Twinkling H2O's to give this fab digi extra sparkle and depth while using a very simple layout.

4-11 Earth Day Challenge at Catch the Bug AND a cool TUTORIAL!

Remember a few weeks back I mentioned I wanted to share a cool little tutorial featuring recycled goodies with you? If not, CLICK HERE for a look at the original project post. Today, I'm going to share a brand new project featuring the SUHWEEEET 'lil album I created...with an awesomely fun - but different - Bugaboo Stamps digi! Now for the promised tutorial...

Here are some of the RECYCLED/REUSED/REPURPOSED items you need:

 

Pretty sure you have some of these!

First you flatten out your toilet paper rollers. (SERIOUSLY, Flatten them as best as you can!)

Collect whatever designer paper scraps you have...

Measure them, and then cut your scraps about 1 to 1.5 inch larger than your roller.

Fold your scraps around the flattened roller, before gluing that baby down!

It should look like this. Make several of these. Punch holes for the ribbons and embellish as you wish! Be sure to leave plenty of space to add wallet size pix! :)

4-4 Anything Goes Challenge at Bugaboo Stamps!

It is the first Saturday of April and we are hosting a new ANYTHING GOES Challenge over at Catch the Bug with Bugaboo Stamps! There are so many awesome samples from my fellow DTTeammates over there! I hope you will join us in the fun!
 


We are starting  to prepare our house and yard for what has become a neighborhood tradition. What started out small, has gotten bigger every week! We started hosting our subdivisions weekly 'Sunday Soiree' on our porch by asking our closest neighbors to stop by for a drink. Now, when the weather permits, everyone who wants to is welcome to join us for a bit of potluck on our porch on Sunday evenings. Adults, kids, and pets bask in the nicer weather, eat, enjoy catching up, and share recipes and gardening tips with each other. We are often asked for the recipes for whatever we grill, cook, bake, or prepare for these potlucks, so the idea of a written recipe exchange has been on my mind for a while! I just needed just the right idea...


One of my first projects with the Bugaboo Stamps DT was a Recipe Book, so why not make a new one to celebrate how much I LOVE Bugaboo Stamps!  Yesterday's freebie was the perfect digi to inspire me and I was delighted to create a new recipe book! I made four complete copies (like the one pictured below) for my closest neighbors and printed out the recipes for others to take if they so wish! I can't wait until we host our first full Sunday Soiree of the season! Won't everyone be so pleased?
