4-4 Anything Goes Challenge at Bugaboo Stamps!

It is the first Saturday of April and we are hosting a new ANYTHING GOES Challenge over at Catch the Bug with Bugaboo Stamps! There are so many awesome samples from my fellow DTTeammates over there! I hope you will join us in the fun!

We are starting  to prepare our house and yard for what has become a neighborhood tradition. What started out small, has gotten bigger every week! We started hosting our subdivisions weekly 'Sunday Soiree' on our porch by asking our closest neighbors to stop by for a drink. Now, when the weather permits, everyone who wants to is welcome to join us for a bit of potluck on our porch on Sunday evenings. Adults, kids, and pets bask in the nicer weather, eat, enjoy catching up, and share recipes and gardening tips with each other. We are often asked for the recipes for whatever we grill, cook, bake, or prepare for these potlucks, so the idea of a written recipe exchange has been on my mind for a while! I just needed just the right idea...

One of my first projects with the Bugaboo Stamps DT was a Recipe Book, so why not make a new one to celebrate how much I LOVE Bugaboo Stamps!  Yesterday's freebie was the perfect digi to inspire me and I was delighted to create a new recipe book! I made four complete copies (like the one pictured below) for my closest neighbors and printed out the recipes for others to take if they so wish! I can't wait until we host our first full Sunday Soiree of the season! Won't everyone be so pleased?

My project below is a mini scrapbook that I created using one of todays New Releases from Bugaboo Stamps - Spring Duck. It has several little pockets and pulls for journaling, and plenty of places for adding wallet sized pictures and memorabilia. Best of all, it uses mostly scraps and recycled materials! Stay tuned for the tutorial I am planning to make and add to my blog in the next few weeks! These little albums are so quick and fun, I just will have to share a 'how to' with y'all!

Humor me Wednesday at Catch the Bug with Bugaboo Stamps

Did you know that March 12th is National Plant a Flower Day? Well it is, so for this weeks Humor me Wednesday at Catch the Bug with Bugaboo Stamps I used Chibi Flower Girl on my card. It looks pretty innocent on the front, but inside it says, "Planting your tulips is better than 'Pushing up Daisies'!"  I am planning on sending this card to a friend along with a package of tulip bulbs! Hope she'll get a laugh...and so will you!
