Little NOTE card

I'm back from being away for a long weekend and just in time too! It's Bugaboo Stamps New Release day! I'm so excited to show you what I've been up to with all of Bugaboo's newest digis! Be sure to head over to the Bugaboo SHOP to see what the fuss is about!
This is the card I've created to show off one of the images from one of Bugaboo's new lines. This digi would make great notecards or papercraft accessories for your favorite music lover, chorus member, band geek and their cohorts! The sentiment is computer generated and doesn't come with the image, so you can choose to add it in or not! Can't you picture your smiling loved ones faces when they bring a whole bunch of digi-topped goody bags to band camp or practice? I sure can! Be sure you come back later to see what else I've created with Bugaboo's new images! :)

On Vacation...

I'm away in New York and New Jersey right now visiting with friends and family. Of course, being on vacation doesn't stop me from doing all of the other things I love to do at home! I've done some shopping for embellishments, browsed through designer paper, ate some delish smoked marguerita pizza, and made some new cards featuring Bugaboo Stamps Digis! I'll be back home on Monday and posting as usual for Tuesday's New Release for Bugaboo Stamps! I'll try and be back between now and then to post and complete some challenges. In the meantime I hope you will enjoy the cards I put up here as I complete 'em!

More? Of course there is!

For my my last project for Bugaboo Stamps Freebie Friday, I made this cute card using a relatively simple layout. Bugaboo's Digis always inspire me to get creative! The cute and fun characters seemingly jump right out at me and almost color themselves! I just enjoy playing with them so! Go and grab your self some in the SHOP! You really can't go wrong!

2nd Bugaboo Stamps FF Post!

I told ya I'd be back with more...and here I am! :-) However can anyone resist playing with FREE STAMPS??? I know I can't - especially when they are these wonderful Bugaboo Stamps! Don't forget to nab yourself some of the new stamps as well as the freebies in the SHOP, on Papercraft Planet & NCR Cardiverse, as well as on Jodie's Blog!

This is an ABaC (Anything But a Card) project I quickly worked up using Bugaboo's Beach Frog, a bunch of cardstock scraps, some leftover embellies and a pad of Post Its. I'd love to say it is on my desk right now (where it belongs), but my daughter has already absconded with it (again!). But as you can see from the picture...who can blame her? This little froggy is too hard to resist! :-)

After dinner post for Bugaboo's New Release

I hope you are all having a fantastic day wherever you are! It is after dinner time here, and many of you might just be browsing for the first time. Be sure to go back through my blog if you have the time. I have been posting like mad all day and all weekend long, so there is ALOT of new things to see! However, for now, since Bugaboo Stamps has the New Releases up and running, I want to show you the final new release card that I created!

This digi image is actually the new girl Bunny, with a twist! I digitally made the sweet little girl bunny into a boy! (I was given permission for this by Jodie Mackrell of Bugaboo Stamps, who created the original digi and owns the rights to the images.) I was going for a very simple card that would be more likely to appeal to boys or men. It is not all frou-frou, or flowery, and is only embellished with a single bit of plaid ribbon. The DP and digi really stand out...which is just as I'd intended. I hope you like it! Be sure to leave a comment to let me know.

Another New Release card from Bugaboo Stamps!

This card features another of Bugaboo Stamps New Release Mini Sets : Cute Skulls. I had a ton of fun working out a layout for this large, square card. I got the idea to make a square card from Clearly I Stamp's challenge, but also wanted to use the 'round and round' theme from Cupcake Craft  too. Well, I suppose that is nothing new...afterall we know how I love to combine challenges right?! So I worked it out by making the base square and topping it with a circle-matted main image. As for all of the rest of the challenges - there are so many, that I have had to list them below! Be sure to come back a little later on today to see my last card for today's new release!

March 1st...

Today is March 1st, and it is my daughter, Annabella's 4th Birthday. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by! I remember everything like it was yesterday! Every milestone of her life, from the moment I found out I was pregnant with her, to her birth, her 1st steps and more. I remember moving here to North Carolina last year and within a few weeks we celebrated her 3rd Birthday thousands of mile away from our family and most of our friends. It is just simply beyond me to describe how mixed my emotions are all because my baby is growing into a little girl!

So much has changed in the last year, we are now homeowners for the first time, Annabella is in preschool, and we have made so many wonderful friends here. Of course, we still occasionally  look back and miss our friends and family 'up North' too! I suppose I am feeling both wistful for what has past and hopeful for what is to come.

These events that shape our lives force us to stop and take stock. I am so happy to have what I do, and that I am so lucky to have my small family here with me safe and sound. It is something I often take for granted - but today on my daughters birthday I am reminded and awed by all I have been blessed with.
