9-8 New Challenge at Bugaboo Stamps!

Catch the Bug with Bugaboo Stamps has a brand new, and super fun challenge this week! This week we want to see cards and papercraft projects inspired by movies! Be sure to tell us what movies inspire you and why! Such a creative and interpretive challenge eh? :) We hope you'll join us!

My card is inspired by The Lorax. My daughter and I had the pleasure of watching the movie together and we instantly thought of using the Bugaboo Stamps AKV Earth Day stamps. We are very earth-concious & the story has always been a favorite of our family. We are always working to teach our daughter good values, so it was a pleasant surprise to see how well the movie portrayed the concepts and lessons in Dr. Seuss' genius story!

This card is apropro for and may have been entered into the following challenges:

Make it Monday - Anything Goes
Inspire me Friday - Anything Goes
The Stamp Man -  Hot Colors
Southern Girls - It's all about the Flora

The card below is my 6 year old daughters card for this challenge. She featured
AKV Earth Day - Hug a Tree for her Lorax-inspired card and hand-printed her sentiment! (So proud of the quote she chose to use from the story too ) We used only bright scraps of cardstock  and minimal embellishment in order to draw attention to the meaning behind our cards.

This card is apropro for and may have been entered into the following challenges:

Little Miss Muffet - Add Writing
Paper Crafting Journey - Anything Goes
Scrap it With a Song - 'Teach your Children Well'
Just Inspirational - Photo Inspiration
