ReplyDeleteGreat card and I love the embossed background. I really like how you've coloured the treasure chest with the different flicks of colour to give it a wood effect. Thanks for playing along with us at Make It Crafty. Hope you play along with our Fun Challenge tomorrow. Hugs, Maria
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card. Love all the texture. To help make your distressing pop a little more you could try roughing up the edges of your embossed sheet just a little more and then inking the edges. It would have been perfect to match with the treasure chest to make it look like a worn out treasure map. When using scissors to distress the edge you can tear a little into the paper and then use a toothpick to curl the corners to add even more dimension. Thanks for joining us again at the Make it Crafty technique challenge. hugs xxoo
